As of December 31, 2009, this segment served approximately 367,000 customers in the western, central, and northeastern Nevada, including the cities of Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and Elko, and a portion of eastern California, including the Lake Tahoe area. The SPPC Natural Gas segment provides natural gas services in Reno/Sparks area, Nevada. As of December 31, 2009, this segment served approximately 151,000 customers.
