Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) may not bid on a $40 billion Air Force refueling tanker contract, clearing the field for Boeing to become the sole bidder, The Wall Street Journal reported. Northrop President and Chief Operating Officer Wes Bush wrote in a letter to the Pentagon that unless major changes were made on the selection process, “Northrop Grumman cannot proceed to submit a bid,” the newspaper said.
